why
we do it

In our rural communities, we know the value of lending a hand when someone’s in need. The Tractor Skill Games is our way of bringing people together to celebrate our shared traditions while giving back to those who need it most.
We chose to donate to the Children’s Health Foundation because every child deserves a chance to grow up healthy, strong, and happy. Many of us have experienced, or know someone who has experienced, the challenges of having a sick child. This is our opportunity to support an organization that provides life-saving care, comfort, and hope to families when they are facing some of their darkest days.
Through this event, we’re not just showcasing tractor skills—we’re showing the strength of our community’s heart. By coming together, we can help change lives, one child at a time.
What we achieve together
Creating an event in rural Oxford County to unite farmers, community members, families, and friends in support of the Children’s Health Foundation serves several important purposes:
Fostering Community Spirit: Rural areas like Oxford County often have a strong sense of community. Hosting a collective event strengthens these ties, providing an opportunity for people to gather, celebrate, and work together toward a common goal.
Highlighting Rural Contributions: Farmers and rural communities play an essential role in sustaining our economy and providing resources. Such an event showcases their commitment to not just agriculture, but also broader societal causes like children’s health.
Raising Awareness: The Children’s Health Foundation supports essential services, programs, and research to improve children’s health. Hosting a community event increases visibility and understanding of these needs, inspiring greater support.
Encouraging Donations: By organizing a fun and meaningful event, you create a platform for raising funds in an engaging way. People are often more inclined to give when they feel connected to both the cause and their community.
Promoting Family Values: An event centered on family and friends reinforces the importance of community and collective well-being, aligning with the mission of supporting children and their health.
Empowering Rural Voices: Events like these highlight how rural communities can make a significant impact on important causes, reinforcing the message that everyone, regardless of location, can contribute to meaningful change.
dollars raised to date!

The profits made from that event were donated to Children’s Health Foundation (commonly known as the London Children’s Hospital) towards much-needed lifesaving equipment and resources. So far, our organization has raised $ 37500.00 over three years for this worthy cause, and helped so many families along the way. We hope to continue towards an impactful goal, to support children.
